Melaleuca names new President of International

Melaleuca Senior Vice President of International Jerry Felton has been promoted to president of Melaleuca International.

Melaleuca CEO Frank VanderSloot announced the promotion in a news release. As president of Melaleuca International, Felton will oversee all of Melaleuca’s international operations in the 16 countries where it does business.

Felton has been with Melaleuca for nine years and served as the senior vice president of sales for 3 ½ years before being promoted to senior vice president of International. During the last five years, under Felton’s leadership, Melaleuca’s international operations have tripled in size, the release said. And in the last three years alone, these international operations have grown by more than $800 million in annual sales.

“Jerry has been a skillful administrator in leading Melaleuca’s operations both domestically and internationally,” VanderSloot said in the release. “He is extremely well prepared to take on this role. Our 16 international companies are in good hands.”

Prior to Melaleuca, Felton spent 17 years at UPS, where he served as the company’s vice president of global accounts.

Washington Federal Promotes Belnap to Division Manager

Bret Belnap is Washington Federal’s new Eastern Idaho Division manager.

Tom Van Hemelryck, Washington Federal’s Idaho Regional President, announced the promotion in a news release.

In his new role, Belnap will be responsible for managing all branch activity within the company’s south-central and eastern Idaho footprint, including Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Pocatello, Rexburg, Ketchum, Hailey, Jerome, Gooding and Salmon.

“Bret’s experience ranges from retail mortgage production to business banking, and he is an active participant in several community service organizations,” Van Hemelryck said in the release. “We are confident his skills and knowledge will help fulfill our mission of driving economic growth and prosperity in the communities we serve.”

Most recently, Belnap served as the branch manager of Washington Federal’s Twin Falls, Jerome and Gooding locations.

Belnap is an eastern Idaho native, attending Snake River High and Ricks College.
