The owners of the three white pickup trucks sought for information in the Aug. 24 hit and run of Keeton Doggett have been identified.
None of the truck owners identified by the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office have been arrested or identified as suspects in the investigation.
The sheriff’s office released pictures of three white pickup trucks taken from a gas station near the scene of the hit and run.
Doggett, 15, was hit by a white truck on his way home from work at the Arctic Circle on 1st Street. He was hospitalized with injuries to his diaphragm and pelvis. A spokeswoman from Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center said Doggett has been discharged.
Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Bryan Lovell said investigators are following up on other tips to make sure investigators didn’t miss anything.
The Arctic Circle is holding a fundraiser Thursday to help Doggett’s family cover his expenses. Half of the restaurant’s proceeds that day will go to Doggett.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about the accident or any eyewitnesses to contact dispatch at 208-529-1200. Anonymous tips can be given to Crime Stoppers at 208-522-1983 and online at ifcrime.org. A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the truck’s driver.
