Vince Neil, the frontman for Mötley Crüe, will headline the inaugural Idaho Rockfest in August at Melaleuca Field.
The two-day rock festival, which will be held Aug. 24-25, will feature performances from Neil and other bands and performers, including RATT, Dokken, Warrant, Sebastian Bach, Great White and Lynch Mob. Additional bands are expected to be announced soon.
“There’s never been a festival of this magnitude in our region, so we’re looking forward to bringing A-list rock and metal entertainment to their loyal fan base here,” said Ron Heyrend of EKR Entertainment, which is producing Idaho Rockfest.
On Aug. 24, RATT, Dokken and Warrant will perform. Each band saw its biggest commercial successes in the 1980s and early 1990s. RATT is perhaps most known for its hit single, “Round and Round.” Dokken has sold more than 10 million record across the world, and Warrant scored hits with “Cherry Pie” and “Heaven.”
Neil will perform the next day. Neil performed vocals on Mötley Crüe’s biggest hits, including “Shout at the Devil,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Dr. Feelgood,” “Home Sweet Home” and “Kickstart My Heart.”
Also performing on Aug. 25 will be Sebastian Bach, the longtime frontman for Skid Row. Great White, which scored a big hit with “Once Bitten, Twice Shy,” and Lynch Mob, will also take the stage on that day.
A two-day pass costs $99, while a single-day pass for Aug. 24 costs $60 and a single-day pass for Aug. 25 costs $75. Tickets can be purchased at https://tinyurl.com/y89aenjx.
